A 100 year love letter to the beach, told through the eyes of the people who lived it.

Corona turned 100. Instead of throwing itself a party, the brand went back to the place that made it famous: the beach.

“This Is Living” is barely a teenager as a line, but we wanted it to feel like it had been there since the first lime met the first bottle. So we stretched it across a whole century of beach moments.

We made “This is Living Since 1925”, a film that looks like a lifetime of home movies, even though there is not a single frame of archive in it.

Directed by Daniel Wolfe and shot by Monika Lenczewska, it runs from sunrise to sunset while the decades quietly change around you. The hair, the swimwear, the music, the way people take over the sand. All of it shot to feel like real people on real trips.

To get there, we rebuilt 100 years of beach life from scratch. We dug through old photos, old films, old beach footage, and matched every decade to the cameras, film stocks, styling and sound that belonged to it.

For the nerds: every decade was shot on the camera and film stock that made it look like that decade. A 1925 clockwork Kinette for the silent years, a Bolex Rex 5 and Aaton XTR for the middle of the century, Super 8 and a Hi8 Handycam for the end, modern Arriflex 416 and 235 for now.

Pause anywhere and it should feel like something you found in a shoebox.

In the film, the beach is the main character. Corona is just where it has always been since 1925, in sandy hands and small rituals that still make people think, for a second, this is living.
